Dentures

Family Dentist in London, Ontario

Missing teeth can not only be inconvenient to eat and speak normally, but they can also cause your facial structure to change. Dentures are a good option to replace missing teeth and improve your smile.

There are two types of dentures, complete and partial. Both complete and partial dentures are removable and require regular maintenance to insure optimum oral health. Dentures should be taken out and cleaned daily. Overnight dentures should be kept in a liquid (either water or a denture solution).

What are complete dentures?

Complete dentures are recommended when all teeth have been lost or extracted. They use suction to stay in place. We recommend that you see your dentist to check your gum, and insure the appliance fits properly.

What are partial dentures?

Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain. They are single piece; they can be on your upper, lower or both arches. They are supported by remaining teeth on gums.
